The annual general meeting was well attended on Saturday 1st December.
Outgoing president Barry Moore opened the meeting with a minute's silence in respect of members that had passed away over the last year. This was then followed by the members approving the minutes of three meetings that had taken place over the past year, the treasurers report along with that of the club secretary and captain. The incoming president Dave York then took over chairing the meeting before officer positions were appointed with a couple to be filled over the remaining winter months
A couple of domestic matters were discussed along with subscription fees and bar prices for the next year before President Dave York closed the meeting.

Game week six............The superb winning run came to an end against Sharnbrook on 5th January. The writing was on the wall from the very start, 0-9 down after two ends was not the start Brian, Denis, Tony and Martin needed, 3-14 down after five ends did't read any better, 6-15 at seven ends showed a slight improvement. that gradual improvement continued right up to the last but one end, going into that last end the score read 17-19 down. Unfortunately while desperately trying to get the shots needed for an unlikely win our boys fell short with the final score being 17-20.
Following some cancellations by the Bedford Borough admin team our next game is still to be confirmed, Watch this space
